Your Child May Become Crazy About MATH! Let Mathnasium show you how they “make math make sense” during an afternoon of fun, games, hands-on learning, and information, as they introduce Mathnasium to Westchester. Mathnasium Learning Centers increase math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject. Each student follows a personalized learning program with the help of specially trained Mathnasium math tutors who provide instruction – and lots of warm encouragement.

Author Gail Greiner and illustrator Jacqueline Schmidt will be here to launch their picture book Patchwork Helps a Friend. Visit this exhibit of photorealistic paintings by Weston artist Ken Scaglia celebrating the elegant lines and polished surfaces of classic cars. Every Thursday from 6-8pm, Magician Philip Klipper will astound and delight the whole family with his incredible sleight of hand during dinner.

Kids of all ages are invited to celebrate “Make a Difference Day” by getting a free stack of books for their home library! Plus, stories will be read by volunteer “Men Who Read” from 11-2pm. Bring your little fairies and gnomes to Enchanted Wave Hill to create your own tiny woodland dwelling using sticks and other fallen materials. Listen to enchanted fairy tales and enjoy mysterious music as you traipse through the woods and enjoy the autumn colors. Admission to the grounds is free all weekend, thanks to the generous support of Target.
